WHY IS IT THAT WHEN WE CORRECT OTHERS AS COMMANDED,
WE ARE CONSIDERED PRIDEFUL?
Dearly beloved, the lukewarmness of the Assembly has reached such gigantic proportions, and the point where we are being forced to ask: "Why Is It That A Corrective Word Spoken, Is Considered Prideful?" All the while Our Master Yahshua hears in horror, I should say!
Why is it that a corrective word from Torah being spoken, is considered prideful –-- a lack of humility and an appalling lack of love?
However, Scripture teaches that many times, to love is to discipline and challenge:
Hebrews 12:6: "FOR THOSE WHOM THE LORD LOVES HE DISCIPLINES, AND HE SCOURGES EVERY SON WHOM HE RECEIVES.”
Hebrews 3:1, "You must warn each other every day, while it is still “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against Yahweh."
And again, Hebrews 10:24 states: " and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good works…"
My dearly beloved, those passages of Scripture are not new to us who have been in the Faith for a long time. We have heard them time and time again. So therefore, why do so many still believe a contrary, current popular notion, over Scripture...?
Are we so fleshly that a general word of correction causes us to inwardly react with despising? And more –-- the urge to slap down that word or it’s bearer...!?
Yes!----is what seems to be the answer most of the time! SADLY!
Oh, how much we have to learn and submit to Yahweh’s way of doing things in a rebellion-condoned world!
Brethren, Our Master Yahshua was perfect in HUMILITY, but nobody even recognised that, because He also spoke the Truth in love! Yet at the same time He was BOLD and FIRM.
Oh how this confuses us, who want to appeal to a ‘worldly’ form of ‘niceness’ !
How many do we slap down purely from a sinful reaction rather than Yahweh---directed? Dear ones of Yahweh, how many times are we unwittingly been ‘kicking against the goad?’ (Acts 26:14)
Acts 5:38 read: "...for if this plan or action is of men, it will be overthrown; but if it is of Yahweh, you will not be able to overthrow them; or else you may even be found fighting against Yahweh!”
Think about it, dearly beloved in Yahshua,
